Special Prosecutor Ken Kratz claims the Dassey confession of 13 May, 2006 demonstrated planning the death of Teresa Halbach over a period of at least several days. The only problem is that Avery’s girlfriend lived at the Avery trailer until the day before the disappearance. She made an unexpected departure on 30 October, 2005.

On 4 May, 2006, Investigator Mark Wiegert testified that Brendan Dassey’s relatives had pointed him to Brendan’s involvement in the Halbach case.

Now Special Prosecutor Ken Kratz is raising the specter of a new witness who was responsible for fingering Dassey.
