Attorney General Peggy Lautenschlager claimed in that Steven Avery was a viable suspect and the investigation and identification procedures verified this conclusion. But, the identification procedure was flawed. The investigation was severely flawed by the desire to convict the first person casually named.

What the? Avery’s Blood Discovered in Unsealed Vial in Courthouse!

Steven Avery’s attorney has found a vial of Avery’s blood in the Manitowoc County Courthouse that was unsealed. This vial was evidence in the 1985 wrongful conviction. Given the behaviors of some of the players in this case, the possibility of evidence tampering must be addressed.
